Jimmy Doo is is a renovated old farm house in quite a remote location . We rely entirely off rain water so guests are encouraged to be mindful of water usage and reduce the length of their showers to avoid running out of water during their stay. The water is safe to drink.
We are very lucky to have plenty of beautiful wildlife here at Jimmy Doo, including kangaroos, wallabies, deer and brumbies. Hunting is not permitted.
We have a small functional training studio located underneath the house for guests to access at their own leisure
There is unlimited Starlink satellite internet available.
At the house itself, there is plenty of outdoor entertaining space on deck, including a large table to seat up to 30 guests, with a pizza oven, outdoor fire, bbq and kitchen. Up on the hill, we have another outdoor picnic area that enjoys incredible views of the sunrise and sunset. There are plenty of activities like archery, mountain bike trails and trampolines for you to enjoy.
Feel like enjoying some downtime inside? We’ve got Netflix, a cinema room and ultra-high speed internet for your free use. The Sauna is the perfect place to warm up after a day on the slopes.
100% of prepayments are refundable when canceled 60 days before arrival or earlier. If your stay is cancelled any later than sixty days prior to arrival, no refunds - sorry!
Jimmy Doo reserves the right to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a natural disaster , extreme weather condition, road closure and other circumstances that make access to the property dangerous. Where this is the case guests will be entitled to a full refund.
Jimmy Doo is not responsible for any other travel expenses incurred as a result of a booking cancellation. Travel insurance is recommended.
In order to protect the natural wildlife there are strictly no pets allowed on property.
All bed linen and towels are provided, there are also 3 portacots provided for infants. The kitchens are fully equipped with everything you will require to cook meals and host intimate gatherings during your stay. In the pantry you will also find some essential items.
Unfortunately, Jimmy Doo is not wheelchair accessible.
There is plenty of firewood available at the property for you to use during your stay.
The turn-off for Jimmy Doo is located on Alpine Way. There is a 4km dirt (unsealed) road to access the property, so some low cars may not be suitable.
We strongly recommend that you carry snow chains to suit your vehicle during the snow season.
With plenty of great trails for mountain biking available in Thredo and the surrounding national park, we recommend bringing your own gear or renting from Sacred Ride or Gravity in Jindabyne.
